Here are some photos of Miranda, our 2018 QV. Photography is another passion of mine next to driving this machine. I have a few different future shoots in mind with her so I'll update this later with new images. Images subject to copyright. If you would like to use them for personal or business means hit me up 🙂

Ok, I live in Chicago. How does she do in the snow? Where do you live? I went with a 2.0 Giulia to get the AWD. I now turned her in on a Stelvio. Great looking QV and awesome pics.

Just saw this. The forum does not notify me when I receive comments here. I live in Pittsburgh. The winter here was relatively mild this year so I didn't get to really push how well she can do in the snow. We only had one day of challenging weather where around 3-4 inches of snow accumulated. The Sottozero Serie II tires did well during this day. That's probably the max the tires can handle though with the car's power. Cold wet slushy driving they were exceptional and the car maintained superb handling.

Very nice. You can have some great drives not far outside Pitt.

What lens/camera have you used for the shots, especially the night ones? They look nice. Also for a 2018 it looks brand new, do you have any coating or paint protection on it?

I shoot with a Sony a6500 and for the night shots I used a Sigma 18-35 f1.8 lens. It's a decent combo.

I've wondered about the coating as well. The previous owner put some form of coating on it which is obvious when you see how water beads off it. She cleans up well! I'm planning on doing a polish and hit her with some Seal and Shine soon to re-up the coating.

Nice choice of lens. I love my Sigma wide angle 10-20mm as well although it is gathering dust. Need to get back into it. @dantegl36 , if it has ceramic or similar coating, do not "polish" using any sort of abrasive compound as it will dull the coating. A quick test to see if it has ceramic type coating is a sticker or some sort. Nothing sticks properly to this type of coating. But if its just wax including whats claimed as ceramic wax, if you clean the surface with some alcohol wipes and apply the sticker it will still stick strongly. Just an idea.

@Triumph23 thank you for the tips! I’ve been wondering how to check for coating type. I’ll give this a shot tonight
