Your dealer is right! I had the same problem with my QV that I bought used with 8 months and 11.000 miles. However, I got lucky because one week before the two year European warranty expired, I had a small issue the temperature sensor. Looking to troubleshoot the problem, I logged into MOPAR to check the exact warranty expiration date. I then clicked on the warranty extension and I got the official MOPAR offer! The car should have less that 60.000 km (say 40.000 miles) and of course, less that two years. I extended the warranty to 125.000 miles, + three years for roughly 1150 USD / year. Donít compare with US prices. Consumption tax (VAT) is very high in the EU. I drive a lot and given the extremely high costs of repairs, I find the value OK.
