Dirty driver? Clean out your rear underbody panel.

I’m not often accused of being a dirty driver but in this case maybe have to take some responsibly lol.
My Giulia QV car was getting some service and we noticed a lot of loose gravel in the rear underbody panel. Took it off and cleaned out about 4 pounds of gravel!

I do track my car and I did drive it a bit in this winter when there’s gravel on the road so not sure where it came from but glad it’s out!

Check out the aerodynamic and air inlets on that panel. Looks like a scoop!

Def! There was a snarky video review on YouTube where the mechanic pounded on the tray on the lift, showering him and the guy with gravel. Yes it's good to check. That's a NACA duct for the muffler box there in the middle. Right about where the tire kit cubby is and many Forza controllers get mounted. Also the diffy. Two more NACA ducts with slight chimneys behind it, and the cutouts for the pipe bends.

when I did my exhaust valve bypass, I had the pleasure of a shower of rocks and gravel. Every few weeks, in the summer and before I put it away for the winter, I used my shop vac hose to suck up all the stuff that decided to become unwelcomed passengers

While looking at the undertray through the exhaust exit gap I noticed this plug. Anyone know what its for?

The undertray looks pretty clean anyway

4 pounds is quite a lot.
How long it takes to get that?

Something used on the European spec. There is a thread on it somewhere.

Anyone notice the undertray appears to be forged carbon?

2017 model with 12,000 miles on it. First time cleaning it. I drove it late winter when there was still some gravel on the road and I think that was part of it
