If you don't mind posting the last 5 digits of the VIN in the thread, I can reply with the info.

MacGeek - how about VIN 32055? It is a Giulia TI Q4, I would like to know the build date.

Thanks!

Thank you so much, unfortunately is not relevant any more. Dealer posted @internet asking MSRP, but after I contacted him, he wants the following:

$78,745 MSRP
$2,499 front clear film protection
$495 window tint
$995 Lo Jack
$10,000 market adjustment

This is just NUTS...and it is N. CA insanity again.
I do not know what these line items are, except for MSRP and markup :-)

Seriously you need to stop dealing with dealers in Cali. I'm in St. Louis, MO and my car that I purchased here in the Heartland is certified to sell in California (see attached actual photo under my hood). You do not need to worry about the emissions in California just verify with the dealer out of state that the car that they will sell you meets Cali emissions. Heell have them send a pic of the emissions label under the hood, if you want. As far as service goes most dealers DO NOT care where you purchased the car from and are bound to service your car through Alfa Romeo as an authorized dealer of that manufacture, especially for warranty work. You can purchase a Quad or order one at or below MSRP and that is still after paying to have it transported to your door step. There is a lot of 2017 inventory for both Base and QV models and dealers are working deals to move inventory. I said it before those California dealers will be sitting on those cars for a very long time.

This is what I did...in a more polite way.
The only reason I contacted him was his posted price in internet and I thought I can manage to go lower than MSRP ....my bad. I thought I found the reasonable dealer here (still about 250ml from my place).
BTW, after my "polite" reply that it doesn't work for me, he came back with suggestion to take markup off...
But I'm done with him and all other N Cal dealers. Will try Cartelligent (already talked to them).
Will keep you posted.

BTW, does somebody know what all these additions are:
- front clear film protection
- window tint
- Lo Jack
Im just curious...

You should tell him exactly why you are going someplace else...so they stop doing this..
They are over charging you to put clear film on the front end to prevent paint chips. Tint is self explanatory. Lo Jack is vehicle locator in case its stolen. Just to get an idea of how much they are screwing you, lojack - even if you want it costs 700 MSRP, installed at your house..http://www.lojack.com/Products/Stole...ecovery-System
You can get it for less at dealers...

Yeah, holy cow that's brazen. And then he just takes the $10,000 mark up off, boom, like that. Who the heck can you take them seriously? Even if you did a full hood and fenders that $2500 is still kinda high. Man, that just isn't cool. It's like they are asking for 25% markup on everything, with a little less % on the car. If every car had sold in the state and they had a real waiting list then maybe they could ask for something, but 10 grand? Not even close. Couple grand maybe, to compete with shipping and so forth. Disappointing. No wonder Marchionne says he's losing money on every one they build. Because they are only selling 1 out of 3.
