Leather dash

This is what could happen if you don't take care of the dash. This is a 164 dash that was leather, shrunk and deformed over the years. Now, I am sure the new Giulia is made much better than the 1980-90's Alfa's but take care of your dash. Keep it cool and shaded. Windshield is 99% UVA and UVB protection and 70% tinted but it's the heat and chemical "leather treatment" that kills. On the S models this happened fairly quickly too. I'd say some say damage around the 8-10 year mark.

This is all true. And the 164 leather was actually very high quality! The leathers used in the Giulia are nice, but seem to have a much heavier top coat and less grain than the 164.
