That's exactly where I put mine. I can barely see it from my driving position when seated normally. In fact, I have to crane my neck to see whether the EZ Pass Flex switch is in the normal or HOV positions.

I put my toll tags on my QV and 4C on the middle of the windshield and do not notice them at all. I just sat in both cars. I cannot see the tag at all in the 4C, but I can see a corner of the tag in the QV.

Where I am having an issue is access to the gated community I live in. Until around June 1st of this year an HOA could program the toll tag to give access to an access gate. The state toll authority has not restricted this practice. I acquired all three of my cars after June 1st so I need a second tag for the gate. These tags are white and really stand out so I am not using them at this time which is less efficient.

And I thought I was obsessive over the little things! Ahah

I just mount mine to the windshield to the right. My dad had 6 cars at one point I think and 1 ez-pass account so I grew up holding the ez-passes for him as we went through toll booths. (I understand why people don't like how they look)

I placed my transponder with suction cups on the front section of the sunroof glass. It's small enough to fit between the shade and the sunroof glass. It's out of sight and works great!

Iím a little OCD so I took a can of black Platidip and coated the whole EZ-pass and mounted in on the windshield in the corner next to the housing for the camera. I donít even notice it anymore...

That’s all I ever do. Never mount it. Just hold it up. It’s the ugliest thing ever.

I’m sure I would eventually forget to hold it up in my DD there is always a lot going on in the toll plaza’s I use and I prefer not having that distraction. Also the PA turnpike has now put “hoops” over the road for some of the tolls and that feels like another place I would easily forget. I still like the cover because in addition to it not visible sitting in the driver seat but I don’t see it from outside either. Also if like jwdm you need more than one tag that’s easy to accomplish.
