Alfa Romeo Changes Dynamic Mode In Giulia Quadrifoglio

Anyone seen or heard about this?

I called my dealership in Houston, and they said they havent heard anything form Alfa on this..

Can or Alfa support confirm if this is true and perhaps provide an ETA?

I have heard of this change from a couple of sources. Makes sense that Alfa should do this. Porsche has had this setup on their PSE systems for some time.

But, according to the article, the exhaust bypass valves can be manually opened by the driver in Dynamic Mode. The way I read it ... it is optional. I expect a setting somewhere in the menu. I expect no change in Race mode ... i.e., when in Race mode, the valves will be open by default.

I would then conclude that in Natural and Advanced Efficiency modes, there will be no choice on the car to open the valves. Which leads me to believe that if you want to force the valves open at all times in all modes, you will still need to install the Forza controller.
